Chapter 7:
Concerning Baptism, baptize in this way. After you have taught all the previous teaching, baptize in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit in flowing water.
If you don’t have running water then baptize in whatever water you have and if you can’t use cold water, then use warm. If you have neither flowing water nor cold water, pour water on their head three times in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
Before baptism, both the person doing the baptism and the person being baptised should fast. If other church members are able they should fast as well. The person being baptized should fast for one or two days beforehand.
Chapter 8:
Don’t keep the fast in common with the Pharisee’s who fast on Monday and Thursday, but you should fast on Wednesday and Friday.
Don’t pray like the pharisee’s but pray like our Lord taught in his gospel, “Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven, give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us of our sins as we forgive those who have sinned against us, and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from the evil one, for yours is the power and glory forever,”
Pray this prayer three times each day.
Chapter 9:
When you administer the Eucharist, give thanks in this way; first for the cup pray, “Father, we thank you for the holy vine of David your servant that was made known to us through Jesus your servant. Glory to you forever.”
Give thanks for the bread saying, “We give thanks to you, Father, for the life and knowledge you let us see through Christ Jesus your servant. Glory to you forever. As this bread was broken and scattered on the mountains, then gathered together and made whole, let your church be gathered from the ends of the earth into your kingdom. For all glory and power belongs to you through Christ Jesus forever.”
You should allow no one to eat or drink of the Eucharist except people who have been baptized into the Lord’s name, because the Lord said, “Don’t give holy things to dogs.”
Chapter 10
After everyone has received the Eucharist, give thanks to God, “Holy Father, we thank you for your Holy Name that you have put in our hearts. We thank you for the knowledge, faith, and immortality you have made known to us through Jesus your servant, Glory to you forever.” “Almighty God. You created all things for your glory. You gave food and drink to mankind for their enjoyment so they would give thanks to you, but you freely gave to us spiritual food and drink and eternal life through your servant. Over everything else, we give thanks to you because of your power, glory to you forever.”
“Lord, remember your church. Deliver it from evil and make it perfect through your love. Gather her from the four corners of the earth. Those you sanctified for your kingdom, that you prepared for it. For yours is the power and the glory forever.”
“Let Grace Come and the world pass away!”
“Hosanna to the Son of David!”
“If anyone is holy, let him come. If anyone is not holy, let him repent. Maranatha (Lord Come)! Amen.”
Let the prophets give thanks as much as they wish.
